The project revolves around a startup that promotes wines, and is based on a review system with a large social component. This company has just started and they need to define from their design principles, to the functionalities to be developed for their new app. In addition, they emphasize that they want a design system that helps the team to build and iterate quickly.
To establish the principles on which the system should be based, they delve into the values and identity they want to convey to users through the design. The principles shown below were further defined in Notion.
The assignment consisted of defining the foundations and constructing the base components and the states of each. Each component of the system and how to make good use of them is also documented in detail in Notion, so that in the event that someone new joins the team, the work can continue without a problem.
The product for mobile devices
From the very beginning, the company's motto is emphasized, inviting the user to explore the recommendations for inspiration. The minimum conceptual unit are those cards where the product is shown, in this case a bottle of wine, and that are repeated throughout the application, which in addition to providing information, are charged with aesthetic identity.
